8.5 inch Handmade Octavia (COMMISSIONS OPENED)

Holy guacamole! This Octavia plushie really was such a blast to make! I spent only 4 days to do all the body, both embroidery and sewing, and the mane and tail took me about 3 days to do for both.

Entirely made out of platinum and Charcoal Minky Cuddle 3 from Shannon Fabrics as usual, as for the DMC "Mouliné Spécial" embroidery flosses I used for the hand embroidery of the eyes, Cutie Marks, mane and tail (cause yeah, I embroidered them too, even though we can't see that on the picture because of the sun). And as usual, this plushie is handmade.

The collar is made out of a piece of an old sheet. This one is machine sewn and is detachable with snaps on the front.

The bow tie is real (cause bow ties are cool), made out of a custom cotton fabric of which I don't know the name. You can untie the bow tie as you want, but that's also detachable with snaps on the back of the neck, behind the mane. And as for the collar, it's machine sewn.

Okay, so I've been told on Facebook that using just a modified version of 's pattern is not a really good thing and I'd better developing my own pattern. Which is why I decided to make a MK III pattern that's about to be finished soon, I'll just have to make a few tests and scale it for filly and Alicorn sizes, plus a 200% zoom for the XL patterns. The MK III pattern will be a combination between 's pattern and the pattern OliFactory uses for the plushies, cause I noticed a few amazing details I'd like to use.
